What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 15:00 to 23:30, check-out by 11:00. Earlier or later? Send us a message and we will see what we can do.
How does check-in work?
You check in yourself. Before arrival you receive all instructions, and our team is available 24/7 via chat if you need anything.
Is there a lift?
No. Bliss is in a historic building and the suites are only reachable by stairs. Keep this in mind if you have limited mobility or heavy luggage.
Does every suite have a fireplace?
Yes, every suite has a fireplace. On arrival you will find instructions on how to use it.
Is breakfast available?
Breakfast is not included, but it is an easy walk to our other hotel, The Saints Sutor at Catharinastraat 2, for a breakfast served by TEDS, the breakfast concept we work with. That is 130 metres from Bliss, about a 90-second walk. Just walk in, no reservation needed.
Are children welcome?
Yes, children of all ages are welcome. A cot or extra bed is available on request for a surcharge; ask us about the options for your suite.
Can I park at the hotel?
Bliss has no private parking. Park in one of the municipal garages in the centre, such as De Barones, Chassé Parking or Het Turfschip, and walk the last stretch.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately pets are not allowed.
Can I pay in cash?
No, at Bliss you pay by debit or credit card.
How far is the station?
From Breda station it is a 12 to 15-minute walk through the centre to Torenstraat.
Is the fireplace in the suite a real open fire?
The suites have gas fireplaces. You get the atmosphere and warmth of a fire without having to burn wood. On arrival you will find instructions on how to use it.
Does Bliss have a suite with a jacuzzi or whirlpool bath?
Yes. The 40 m² Deluxe Suite has a whirlpool bath, a shower for two, a fireplace and a private roof terrace.
Which suite should I choose for a romantic weekend?
Every suite has a fireplace. For a romantic weekend, take a look at the Deluxe Suite with whirlpool bath and roof terrace, the Colonial Suite with its four-poster bed or the intimate Mystery Suite.
Do you have a suite for a family or friends?
Yes, the Superior Suite. It is 60 m², with two large double beds, a table for eight, a fireplace and a view of the Grote Kerk. Children are welcome.
How big are the suites and how many guests can stay?
Seven themed suites are around 30 m² with one extra-large double bed, for up to three guests. The Deluxe Suite is 40 m² and the Superior Suite is 60 m² with two large double beds.
Where exactly is Bliss?
At Torenstraat 9, 4811 XV Breda, directly next to the Grote Kerk in the old town. The Grote Markt is about a two-minute walk away.
Can I arrive after 23:30?
Check-in is possible until 23:30. Arriving later? Let us know in advance by message and we will see together what is possible.

Bliss is a small boutique hotel with nine themed suites in a historic building on Torenstraat. That means there is no lift and no private parking. We would rather tell you up front, so your stay starts without surprises.
